How to Check Ghee Quality

Look for traceable information, not a shortcut purity test.

Start with the label

Look for the product name, ingredient declaration, manufacturer details, batch number and dates. Keep the packaging if you need to ask the seller a question about a batch.

Ask for matching documentation

A report should clearly identify the tested product and sample. Compare its batch details and date to your pack; a report for another product does not establish the quality of yours.

Do not rely on appearance alone

Colour, aroma and texture can vary with ingredients, process and storage temperature. A home visual check cannot substitute for appropriate testing. If a pack is damaged or the contents seem unusual, contact customer care before using it.
